Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conducting research on potential products, vendors, services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal.
• Meeting with vendors and clients to negotiate the best contracts
• Handle daily purchasing orders.
• Liaising with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time.
• Prepares and reviews bids and orders to verify accuracy and specifications.
• Provide sourcing support for all materials.
• To liaise and co-ordinate closely with suppliers and internal Section / Department to ensure the efficiency of purchasing function.
• Updating all records of purchased products, preparing reports on purchases made, preparing periodic reports.
• Analyze & perform strategic sourcing of materials to achieve long terms and sustainable benefits to the company.
• Taking part in Supply Chain Management activity and supplier evaluation tasks.
• To apply critical thinking for solving issues and claim for procurement and supply issue.
• Others task as and when assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• Degree in Sciences / Business Administration / Economic or its equivalents with a minimum of 3 years of experience purchasing field in the food manufacturing industry will be preferable.
• Good oral and written communication skills, possess good working attitude and character, able to speak Mandarin is a bonus because need to communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
• Required skill(s): Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point; Knowledge in SAP is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal, good communication, and negotiation skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Resourceful, self-motivated, independent, team player, able to work under minimum supervision & able to handle multi-tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• To assist the R&D Manager to achieve the KPI for the R&D department.
• Provide technical expertise report for products in development, new, improvement, or renovation.
• Lead R&D project portfolio of new and innovative technologies (includes raw materials, ingredients, equipment, packaging & processes).
• Planning, execution, and evaluation of projects while maintaining food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure product compliance to food act and regulation standards from the aspects of ingredients and nutrition
• Manage physical and chemical testing of products, especially all the new products.
• Product Costing management for existing and new products.
• Responsible for resolution of technical issues that arise during the development; production, operational, or performance-based.
• Work closely with Operations, Quality, Purchasing, and Marketing in the communication of technical information, trial run, market launching, etc.
• Time management and adaptability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while remaining aware of completion dates
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to establish recipes, procedures writing, and process parameter control plan.
• Requires independent analytical and creative work efforts regarding proper procedures, planning, and follow-up.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent.
• At least two (2) years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Experience in the food industry R&D is a priority.
• Fresh graduates also are encouraged to apply.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin.
• Preferable Mandarin Speaker.
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Food Technology/Nutritionist or equivalent.

Job Scope:

• Help load / unload goods to the truck
• Make sure the goods are loaded safely and will not move or be damaged during transit
• Guide the truck driver to reverse and park the vehicle
• Bringing goods into the premises
• Obtaining a signature on the DO
• Ensure the cleanliness of the truck
• Other instructions from time to time
